I Had Never Heard Of A Book Trailer Until I Spent Two Weeks Learning How To Make One
When the author of the last book I illustrated asked if we could make a book trailer I had no idea what book trailer was!
In addition to never having seen a book trailer I had no experience with animation programs. Being fairly positive I could learn how to make a trailer, I invested in an animation program.
Starting the project I had a vision of animating a trampoline jumping scene, but it didn’t take me more than a day to realize that animating “jumping hair” just isn’t for me, so I quickly skipped that version and spent two weeks making a less complicated one.
Although it took me a while to complete the project, I had fun creating the video and I like the idea that there amongst all the wonderful fast paced videos on YouTube also exists slow paced non fictional book trailers.
About the book: the author is Sarah R. Herlofsen, and it´s called “Life´s wonderful journey” (its only to be found in Norwegian).
