This was my first art series a few years ago. It is mixed media: acrylic, oil, pastel, and pencil. It was combined with a music concert that had only original songs, performed by me and my husband.

Really nice work. Great examples on the use of negative space. And the details and precision on the inside is almost photographic. I thought they were cuttings from a photo or something.

These are absolutely gorgeous. Jimi Hendrix and Gandhi especially. I've seen people do this technique with photography, but to do it by hand is incredible.

These are amazing! Don't measure your art's work by what people would pay for them or what negative people say. I was completely surprised to read that you painted the details inside the figures, they look amazing! You could do one more artwork with the subtle silhouette of your father, leave a hole where the heart would be and sell it for 5$.

They are all hand made :) looking at existing photos of my heroes and painting a landscape in their silhouettes. I will post more soon!
