In My Watercolor Paintings, I Try To Capture The Deeper Meaning Of Human And Nature Elements (13 Pics)

Surrealism and watercolor painting have always been my passions for storytelling. I love using stark black-and-white contrasts to let the vibrant colors of nature elevate the emotion of my pieces.
The meanings and symbolism behind natural elements fascinate me. I believe that each element has a deeper meaning, and I strive to capture this in my paintings. When a piece is complete, I feel a deep connection to it, knowing that it is more than just a work of art; it is a reflection of my inner world.
I hope that my paintings will transport viewers to another place and time, and inspire them to see the world in new and unexpected ways.

Such lovely, original paintings! I love them! Do you sell prints of them anywhere online?
How is this even possible with watercoloirs?! 😲
I was just about to comment that! Like, how does one even go about making such details and smooth watercolor paintings?!
By layering. I also paint with watercolours, and these are incredibly hard to do. First you paint a light, watery layer and wait for it to dry. Then you paint on a darker, but still watery layer to emphasize the darker areas. This continues until on until the colours are sufficiently deepened. But you need to have a very good grasp of shadows and highlights, plus a very steady hand.
That I can understand, but for first, I can draw a stick figure. full stop. 😂
I think these are wonderful, but my favorite parts are the colors. The use of black and white to make the colors pop even more is great! And the colors are super solid. Each one of these says a thousand things, like a picture is meant to say. Great job! Love the crisp work!
These were pretty :)
