Do you get to keep your tips? Does the company keep all tips. Are tips combined to be split among all workers? Does management take a cut on all tips?

Through other forums I have found out certain businesses use different methods. One business deducts the 3% credit card fee from the server's tip on the ticket, and if there is no tip, then it is deducted from the tip pool. Another places all the tips into a tip pool, and it is divided equally amongst all the servers once a month, after the Manager "counts it". At another place, if a table has 6 or more seated, then the restaurant places a 8% surcharge, that goes to the restaurant and not the server. Another restaurant has the servers buy a special uniform that has NO pants pockets, so the servers are not allowed to pocket tips, and have to turn in all cash including tips.
Trying to find support for an article about eliminating restaurant worker exemption from minimum wage. For example: https://kfor.com/news/local/local-bbq-restaurant-accused-of-keeping-66k-from-its-own-employees/
