I wanted to see if anyone has a secret trick they use to improve their art. For example, I use ultramarine blue paint to darken colors rather than black.
With watercolour you can carefully put a layer of clingfilm over the paint, crinkle it up to make shaped and peel it off when dry to make a pattern for water or rocks, also you can sprinkle the salt that comes in little pieces in the wet paint and brush it off when dry to make a mottled pattern
