The books are pretty good once you get into them. Stephanie Myers took liberties creating her version of what vampires are. I like that she changed it up and it wasn't the same old thing

I do definitely enjoy that she didn't go with the stereotype for the vampires and honestly the love story isn't the worst ever and I would definitely be someone to get into it. The problem is her writing is just not great. She obviously never learned how to write properly. She's super description heavy for no reason and she uses a lot of huge words when she could easily use smaller words people know. The story is great, but the writing not so much

I only saw about half of the first one. I'm into supernatural things, so thought I'd give it a go. My first issue was, why is the vampire dude at school? I mean, surely he would have progressed further than a high school education in all those years? I don't want to hear, 'it's to keep up the impression that they are normal!', they live in the middle of nowhere, who would even know if they were there or not!

The cullens would need to move anyways, because they don't age, so Jake could've just moved with the family. Caius' douchebaggery will come back to get him. How come alice couldn't see Victoria using Riley as a middle man in eclipse.
