I once had 15 pets in my house. 2 guinea pigs, 5 fish, 5 dogs, 2 cats, and 1 hermit crab!

At one time I had 3 cats, 1 dog and 2 horses = wonderful memories!
3 dogs is my limit. My sister had 2 dogs, 2 rabbits, and 2 cats at one time, now they have 3 dogs, one cat, and no rabbits
After my mom passed, I added hers to mine and ended up with 18 cats, 5 fishtanks and plants. We both rescue kitties who are feral so Iwas worried for their care. They have since joined my mom, but were spoiled until end.
Ok so 30 years ago I owned and operated a rescue for exotic pet birds. During that time I had in my care:
175 finches (various species)
51 parrots
26 cockatoos
34 parakeets
22 cockatiels
2 dogs
5 cats
8 horses
7 ducks
3 geese
15 chickens
2 goats
18 fresh water fish
1 husband
2 children
1 house to clean
3 barns to clean
5 acres of Yardwork
and a full time job...
I wish I still had that energy.
My mom (92) and I (65) currently have about 20 cats. If they show up here (or are born here) we cannot allow them to starve. About half of them are house cats with full access to a pet door. I never had children and these are my kids.
14. Had two cats. One got knocked up and had six kittens. The little younger one that followed her everywhere people said was "too young don't worry" had five. They gave birth on the same day hours apart. So two cats, eleven adorable kittens, and a cockatiel.
And yes, I do know exactly what herding kittens is like.
