A few years ago (I was a kid), I was sitting in my room when I heard a really loud noise. I was scared that it was my dog. I called her name but she didn't answer. I thought she was really hurt, so I ran into the living room, where she was sitting there perfectly fine. Turns out a bookshelf had collapsed in my dad's office. (I know this isn't that scary but I couldn't think of anything else)
