We've all had at least one, admit it.

When I was in year 5 at primary school (10-11yrs) I was wrongfully accused of calling a kid a name (it was my mate). After lunch I was called into the other year 5 class (we had 2) where the boy that blamed me was. The teacher then stood me up in front of the class and asked all the students to put their hands up and tell me what they didn't like about me. This went on for a few rounds of the class (15min) until I was a blubbering mess at the front, he then sent me back to my class distraught. I had my best mates putting their hands up saying the most horrible things about my appearance, intelligence, race and more. It was like hens at a pecking party but all orchestrated by a grown man who is meant to protect kids.
Subsequently my confidence was shot to pieces and I never trusted teachers again(still kinda don't and I am one lol). I was expelled from multiple high schools because I didn't want anything to do with school. Fast forward years down the track and I now teach in an alternative education school helping young people that are in a similar position that I was in regain their love for learning. If you asked me if I wanted to work in a school 20yrs ago I would've laughed at you but I wouldn't change my job for anything now
This is just from last year when I was in my 10th grade. Because of the pandemic, a lot of teachers had left school including our English teacher. So we got a new one. He wasn't really a good teacher. Half of the class didn't really understood what he was teaching. But our board exams were coming up so having a mildly bad teacher was better than having no teacher. But he was more weird than we originally thought. He would always ask the girl students questions and ignore the boys. And many of my classmates said they felt uncomfortable with his gaze. One of my classmates had a short skirt(we were at the end of the school so there was no point in buying a new skirt.) That teacher would constantly keep looking at her during assembly times or departure times. One of the other girls who stayed in school for extra classes told us how when she would submit her assignments, he would keep her standing by the desk and even after that would send her back without checking her assignments. Since all the girls were getting uncomfortable we decided to complain to our principal. He listened to us and assure us he would take action. Later that day our principal told us he called the teacher in office and talked about it with him. He told us how the teacher started crying and said how he would never do something like that. Since our principal assured us we decided to not share it with other students. ( Although all of us did share it with our parents.) For the next few days, the teacher would try to pick any small mistake we girls did in class. He once asked me why I was laughing in class when I wasn't even laughing. I was drinking water. Thankfully as soon as our syllabus were covered he stopped coming to our class at all. But he is still in the school. My brother still goes to the school and tells me how weird that teacher is and that no student wants to really learn from him. Don't know why the school still keeps him.
My Junior English teacher was this old white lady who did not know how to behave in a school setting. Her first year at my school (my sophomore year) she posted an assignment about the history of the n word and how it has been used. We got on the news, but the school tried to cover it up and did not fire her. My year, during spirit week, her outfit was cultural appropriation, and she made several inappropriate comments that day. The finally fired her during my senior year, after she called a student a slur.
I hope she ends up in my school where I teach cultural education. Being the Aboriginal and Family liaison I'd have a few choice phrases for her lol
