Loki Seeing how "my kid" is not technically a breed, I'll just say 95.3% APBT / 4.7% Rottweiler Loki-monster (like cookie monster)... slobber-monster... monster... lokimotive... lokidog... lokido (lo-key-dough)... kido (Key-dough)... N-WOO (because he's cute like the little strawberry that keeps saying it on "Cloudy with a chance of meatballs 2"... and, also, his bark sounds like "woo-woo-woo" 😆)... WOO, Bubbles... Loki-dokey... Couch Tiger... Mr. Cuddles... Vulture (I'm sure most dog owners can guess why)... Kitty-Pitty (he does some strange leaps for toys and always lands on his feet - like a cat)... I'm probably missing some, as nicknames are constantly evolving 😁

I forgot a couple! (1) "Sock Dragon" because he will literally steal every sock he can find - not to eat, just to hoard in a pile... I once pulled 8 out of his mouth when he got into the dirty clothes hamper and then discovered another tiny pile he'd already procured around the corner. (2) My husband calls him "Sammy L" ... because "if Loki could talk, he would sound like Samuel L Jackson" 😆.

I had a Great Dane named Murphy, He passed away, I used to call him my old puppy, Murph, and Murph-Dog. This made me cry from memories :') thank you for posting.

Did the "old puppy" nickname come from (A) the fact that he got old and still seemed like a puppy or (B) the fact that he always acted old, even when a puppy? I once had a JRT that always acted like an old man since a puppy... never wanted to really play, was super lazy, and could occasionally be grumpy... his nickname was "grandpa" (we lost him at the age of 15 [2 years ago] to cancer). I still have another JRT who is basically a 14 y/o puppy (he has WAY too many nicknames to submit) and still can hang when playing with the aforementioned 2.5 y/o Loki-monster. So sorry for your loss... dogs are like kids.
