I was in New York and was very upset (no details ;) I bumped into a stranger and they said sorry, they then looked straight into my eyes and asked if I was okay. Nicest thing anyone has done (It was my first time in NYC) Will always remember☺

Come to England someone will tell you they are sorry at least 10 times a day. Tread on their feet and they will say sorry, get in their way on the street and they will apologise. It's just the way we are - sorry.

I was with my male best friend. I slipped and cut my knee quite bad. He literaly carried me to the nearby clinic and the helped pay for the bill. After a few years, we are Married. Was the best decision of my life!

After being hospitalized, I ended up with over 7K in co-pay bills. My friend gave me the money. Still floored.

My 6 year old niece was starting to learn how to your spell some words. One day she came over and asked to borrow the chalkboard I have in the kitchen so she could practice. Hours after they left, I walked into the kitchen and I noticed she had put the board back. On it was written “ I love you antie”. It was the cutest and best thing ever!

I don't really remember these types of things, but whenever someone just says "Thank You" to me genuinely. It makes me happy that they appreciated my efforts.

Twenty five years ago whilst driving through Northern France my car broke down. On a motorway before I had a mobile phone on a Public holiday. A young French couple helped me move the car to a closed garage. They then took me home to meet their parents allowed me to join their family meal after which they drove me to a train station in Lille to get home. I have tried to repay their kindness to other strangers I have met over the years, as I lost their contact details, something I bitterly regret to this day. Hopefully they are a fellow panda. I was the one in the blue Volvo 340.

My sister and I had a similar situation a couple of years ago. We were travelling in Canada for the first time and there were two strangers that really helped us out. The first one was when we got off a train we had been travelling on for about two and a half days. It was 2am and we couldn't check in to our air bnb until 10 am. The woman at the train station asked if we had transport and somewhere to stay and we explained the situation. She saw how utterly wrecked we were and not only organised a taxi but an inn as well which we ended up staying in rather thangoing on to the other bnb.

So many, but not to seem mercenary, one I have never forgotten and need to mention. I had to be out of work (and church) for weeks due to a medical problem - and for this job no work no pay. People in my Sunday School class noticed I continued to be out and put me on their prayer lists. After a few weeks my Sunday School teacher showed up at my door with an envelope in her hand. With no suggestions from her the class decided to take up a love offering to help me get by without a paycheck. There were notes and amounts from change to fifty dollar bills and checks in that envelope! I had never experience such an outpouring of love by anyone before! I had prayed to God for a way to pay bills and He answered. Now I keep the last quarter of that money in a clear jar on my counter to remind me of their love that answered my prayers.

I lost my first child from congenital illness when she was 2. She died in the hospital after being there only about 24 hours. About a week later, I got an envelope in the mail with a note from one of the nurses, saying how much my child affected her in just that short time. She also included the fuzzy pink socks she was wearing when she died. It just opened up my heart.

My tears flow for you and I'm so thankful someone cared when you most needed it.

I give people a lot of gifts and when they really appreciate it that is what makes me happy, or someone wanting to have one on one time.

Maybe not then nicest but the first thing I got in my mind: I was having a really terrible day and someone who sat next to me let me punch him whenever he annoyed me. Which was a lot, he's really annoying but I love him ngl. Good thing I'm weak ir it would have really hurt

My mom has bailed me out of a lot of life jams. She helped me replace my laptop so I could continue working. I had to pay her back but I was still grateful.
