Not rly a computer hack, and feel like most people know this already, but things charge faster when you put it on airplane mode.

This might be already posted but hit alt+f4 to lower your ping (speed up WiFi connection) when playing a video game by doing that your computer will connect to the main/strongest WiFi within 100 miles it works best for mid game because then it processes faster and sends the signal farther! Hope it works for you guys :)

CTRL+Z has saved my life more times than I care to remember. It's Undo. CTRL+Y is redo. Those two so much life saving. Also Word has a function that can restore something you accidentally deleted. Oh, in Word if you grab the top right upsidedown triangle on the ruler at the top of the document and drag it to the first half check between where it was and the first long dark check that's a way to set your Tab so you don't have to hit tab everytime you just hit enter and it goes to the tabbed spot. You can also do this by going to Format, Paragraph, Indentation, Special make it first line, and indent by .5". You can do formulas in Excel to have it auto fill in your math. I don't remember all of them but they've saved my life.

I use ctr+s to save without even thinking about it (even in programs where it doesn't work :p ). | Ctrl+alt+del is of course a faithful friend for killing stuff that freezes (mostly on my work computer). | If you have a window that is "stuck" with the menu bar / "header" outside the top of your screen: Press alt+ space bar, then select "move" from the menu. You can now use your arrow keys to lure it back to where you can grab it. ... Speaking of tricks, how do you get line breaks on Bored panda?

As a former I.T guy, there were a few simple key combos that were sometimes received with such awe and amazement I felt like a wizard. One person told me that a couple of the "tricks" I showed her had made her job so much easier it had changed her life. So, here are some that I take for granted, in no particular order: 1 - Ctrl+mouse scroll wheel will zoom any web page in and out. This also works in many applications, such as MS Office. To return a web page to its default size, use Ctrl+0 2 - Clicking on links with the centre mouse button (scroll wheel) will open that link in another tab without taking the focus away from your current tab. 3 - Ctrl+d will add the current web page to your favourites

Holding the Windows key and pressing semicolon (;) will bring up the emoji keyboard, allowing you to enter emojis in just about any application.

If you have multiple screens, Window+shift+arrow key (whichever is appropriate) moves the window to a different screen. If you hold down the CTRL but and use the mouse wheel, it zooms the picture in and out.
