It is largely agreed that the frontal lobe of the brain, the part relied upon for higher-level cognitive functioning (reasoning), is not fully developed until around 25 years of age. UK police are happy to train and deploy officers from the age of 18. Age 19 if you want the power to shoot someone with a lethal round.

My question is, that in a job which requires remarkable reasoning skills, why is the UK happy to throw any old petulant youth with a chip on their shoulder onto the streets to police the proletariat without even first claiming a firm understanding of their own mind?

I support policing by experience and not by boxes ticked. 25 should be a minimum age for hitting the street, and even so, 30 would be recommended.

    I have a weird esophagus. Its either to narrow or i have a muscle that doesnt work right. So food will get stuck but i can still breathe.

    Ive learned how to make myself vomit. It really gets fun if i drink red kool aid bc i can make myself throw up on a whim. Vomiting blood is a great way to get off of work.

    Its been treated so i am fine now. Still can blow chunks whenever i want to.
