I got a 12yr old. Very curious. Easily distracted. Constantly bored. Thankfully most panda content is wholesome. But every now and again, that search history... Has anybody got some parenting advice for someone who never expected to be a parental role in a child's life?

I use the Blocksite extension on Chrome. You can block specific words, sites, search types, etc. But honestly, the best thing you can do is just talk to him/her about the dangers that can be found online. Don't sugar coat anything and don't shy away from the darker or more curiosity triggering topics.

Take time to explain safety. Set a reasonable age to where they can get social media, I wouldn’t just let them use it right off the bat. I’m 16 and am glad that my parents didn’t just let me do whatever at such a young age. But, then again remember to be flexible with your rules as they get older.

Supervise and there are apps that can track them, block websites, and have you be able to see his screen on another device
