Absolutely! Been in relationships where I loved the person to the moon and back. And they couldn’t give me any of their time. Walking away from that toxic relationship burned to my soul. A piece that will be hard To fill again.

Not romantically but my best friend from 12 to 23y really broke my heart. She was like my sister and I loved her very much. We met at least once a week for years despite going to different schools/careers but at some point she started to become distant. Spending a lot of time with her boyfriend and not really putting an effort in our friendship. I was always the one planing, accommodating my schedule to her and starting our conversations. At some point I needed to admit that she was not my friend anymore and it really hurt a lot. One of the very few times that I cried in front of others since I was a kid.

No because I am scared of that happening, so I force myself not to have crushes

Yes... Someone whom I cared about cheated on me and admit it without remorse...

Actually I think it was me who did the breaking… I had a crush on this guy when after it ended I realized was just an obsession with the idea of a relationship. He ended up liking me back, and he found out from a friend that I lost feelings. I think he cried about it. Really sucks to know I did that

Freshman year. A girl name Alicia became my first love. Greatest first love a kid could have. We dreamed and planned. For 6 months or so I was head over heels in love. But alas all things die, teenage love is no different. But I have a snapshot in time of wonderfully beautiful young woman. May the sun shine on her path and wind be always at her back.
