I buy my dog raw meat from the butcher. Specifically, the butcher discards a LOT of meat, and for about $40 for a week's worth of food, he will set up a 20% bone and 80% meat combo and grind it up for me. Then I just distribute that into little bags and put them in the freezer. Then I take some out of the freezer and into the fridge to thaw for the next meal. I will sometimes mix in some canned pumpkin too. But she loves it, it's good for her, and it's cheaper than anything you'll buy at a pet store, of the same quality.
