You might have noticed since i put this on every book recommendation post, but... Project Hail Mary. Written by Andy Weir. The best book I have ever read.

I in Finland borrowed it from a library, but I don't know if that's practical or even possible in your location. Also, the book doesn't really fir your description of your taste, but Project Hail Mary is still definitely great

Currently on a Gail Carriger kick She has 3 main series as well as a few smaller series and several novellas. The mains are The parasol protectorate The custard protocol Finishing school They are all steampunky Victorian novels full of wear wolves vampires and other supernatural creatures

Stand Still, Stay Silent. Written/drawn by Minna Sundberg. This webcomic I'd say fits your description of your taste quite well. It's a post-apocalyptic tale with elements of ancient nordic mythology (finnish and scandinavian alike). My pfp is actually one of this webcomic's charachters. You can find Stand Still, Stay Silent by just googling its name.
