I was in the exact same situation. My mom ended up getting rid of them, but I know what you can do. If she is the one that always cleans up after them, you need to start doing that instead. She probably wants to get rid of them because she doesn’t want to keep taking care of them. If you start taking that responsibility, she’ll want to keep them. You could also leave them outside during the day. If you have a big playpen, you could leave them in there during the day, and it will minimize the mess that they make inside. Hope this helps!
