After 8 Amazing Years Of Owning My Guinea Pigs, I Created Tribute Comics For Them
Hey, I’m Nuwbis and I create a webcomic series about my daily life named “NuwComics”. One of my greatest passions is my lovely pets!
I had the opportunity to have two amazing girl guinea pigs be part of my life for more than 8 years!
Sadly, they passed away from old age, in the past year. I had a special series planned about them and their adventures, but when the first one passed I was really devastated and stopped working on it for a long time. Last year, was when the last one passed, but this time I decided to finish the series to honor their life and great personalities!
They were such an important part of my life for so many years! I’m grateful to have been their owner, to take care of them and see them grow as lovely sweet guineas! I hope you love cute animals with quirky personalities because you’re gonna love this series then!

Pet me
They had such different personalities! Tifa acted more like “I kinda love you human but I’m the boss!” Yuffie was more like “You love me and I love you! Gib Snacks!”
Hungry
Tifa wanted to eat alone in a hiding spot! Yuffie was spoiled and loved that I hold the food for her! However, they both always wanted to eat what I was preparing for myself, even if they had eaten already.
Hold me
In the end, both enjoyed being next to me. Even when it was playtime outside they would come to play next to me!
Garden time
One thing they both loved was eating grass!
The tunnel
They would share the tunnel but Yuffie always had to convince the other it was a good idea!

I really needed this. Until recently, we had 7. I built them their own big shed with 3 floors, 1 for each group. We lost 2 of our oldest recently and both happened so fast, we really weren't expecting it. I miss them. Thank you for sharing your beautiful furry potatoes! Think I'll go get some cuddles!

I had 6 guineas and am now down to 2 (sadly). I absolutely love them. They are the funniest, cutest creatures ever and they are so full of character. I love your comic, it's really good and it's great to see other people who adore piggies too. I'd love to see more. Sorry you have lost them now. I've never forgotten every single piggy that I was blessed to take care of in my life. There have been many and will be many more. 😊

I absolutely love this! Thank you for sharing your piggies with us and I'm so sorry for your loss. They remind me so much of my 2 boys (currently approaching 5yrs old). I had to separate them at 2yrs old as they started fighting and they now have a very love/hate relationship - speaking to each other through the divide before the teeth chattering begins.

Yeah sometimes piggies can have good relationships between them but have bad periods of time that are just annoyed with each other and territorial! Sometimes they just need some space or time! But can like which other at the same time XD! Piggies gonna be piggies :p!

I've had two adorable guinea pigs too - both died last year sadly. I hope they are friends with yours in guinea pig heaven :) so sorry to hear they died! Your comics are so sweet and awesome :-)

So adorable. Guinea pigs are so darn cute. When I was a kid our family had about 10 guinea pigs. I had my very own once our female had babies and I called him snowball as he was all white. Sadly he died a few weeks after being born as he was very sick. Turns out he is what’s called a Lethal White Guinea Pig. Snowball was blind, deaf and was very sick. even though my parents and the vet warned me and suggested I choose a different guinea pig I still chose Snowball.

I have a baby guinea pig and an adult, I am quarantining them to make sure neither are sick! Had piggies for well over a year and they’re adorable. When Smudge and Fred aren’t together, they go crazy, bite the cage and wheek. Oh, and I’m so sorry your piggies passed away. I’m sure they’re watching over you from where they are, and that they miss you too. Rest In Peace, sweet pigs :(

I've had almost every pet imaginable but I only recently found Guinea pigs. I got a couple for my son and they are magical! Absurd and ridiculous, but also utterly magical!

So cute! Yuffie looks a bit like my Josie. She was my Halloween piggy, black on top, orange on the bottom. We lost her this past spring. She was a rescue, so age was unknown. She was perfectly fine the day before, then gone the next.☹️. Still have her three "sisters" though.
