The Pomona Cultural Center is currently hosting an evocative art exhibition, ‘Gravitation’, featuring the works of painter Eliyahu Lallouz and sculptor Arny Weinstein. This exhibition explores the interplay between spiritual symbolism and material form, inviting viewers to contemplate the forces that draw us together and shape our experiences.
Eliyahu Lallouz, known for his deeply spiritual paintings, presents a series of works that delve into themes of faith and tradition that influence our lives. His art often incorporates religious motifs and boldly colored abstract elements, creating a visual language that speaks to both personal and collective journeys.
Arny Weinstein’s fascinating wood sculptures offer a tactile exploration of form and balance. His pieces are characterized by intricate craftsmanship and the natural beauty of wood, reflecting a harmonious relationship between composition and medium.
Together, Lallouz and Weinstein’s works create a dialogue between the ethereal and the tangible, encouraging visitors to reflect on the gravitational forces—both literal and metaphorical—that connect us.
Curated by Tjokorda Gde Arsa Artha, ‘Gravitation’ is on display at the Pomona Cultural Center, 584 Route 306, Pomona, New York, now through May 25 with gallery hours, Friday – Sunday, 2-6pm. An art reception will be held on April 27, from 4–7 p.m., offering a unique opportunity to experience the convergence of spiritual and artistic expression.
