I love the locking out part. :D I hate the stories of parents (most often fathers) who are acting like their child (most often a daughter) getting a partner is in any way not welcomed.

I don’t blame her for watching the garbage men – they’re in pretty good shape. I’ve seen a few pick women work at picking up garbage, and I am in awe of their strength and stamina.

I honestly thought she was going to be a drunk or a homeless person asleep in some trash and he woke her up and lifted her out of the trash with a manly lift and their eyes met and their nostrils flared with the stench of rotting food as they fall madly in love. Nice story anyway.
