If you have a pet, you probably know they can fall asleep almost anywhere and in the strangest positions imaginable. They curl up in the tiniest spaces, sleep upside down with their legs pointing in every direction, and never fail to make us wonder how they can possibly be comfortable.

A viral thread has pet owners sharing photos of their furry friends resting in the weirdest spots and contorting themselves into the strangest positions. If this sounds familiar and makes you think of your own dog or cat, you're in the right place! We've selected some of the funniest snapshots of pets chilling in positions that seem to defy all logic.

Scroll down and see which pet takes the crown for the strangest position.
