It’s Time For The Best Parenting Tweets Of The Month, And Here Are The Best Ones This January (30 Pics)
The UN health agency chief expressed optimism during a press briefing on Wednesday that 2022 may be the year the world ends the acute stage of the COVID-19 pandemic. That’s a big bet. A bet on which our sense of normalcy, something we took for granted in the pre-pandemic life, relies.
Speaking of parents, the prospect may sound like a savior. You see, dealing with kids in all this chaos proved to be a whole new kind of challenge. It left moms and dads continually sleep deprived, it turned them into stay-at-home teachers, made homes children’s playground and ruined not just one or two video conferences.

After all, parents’ tweets have an endless source of inspiration thanks to these cheeky little daredevils who may bring some misery now and then, but even more happiness. Psst! For me it would be: I really hope my bother of a brother isn't even more annoying than he already is
I am in a wheelchair permanently. One kid I came across in the street didn't really get why I needed that wheelchair. So to make it a bit easier I explained it as my wheelchair is a stroller for adults who can't walk :-)
Wait until they are asleep, then write Sully in a circle with a line through it on the other side of the door and see what they do.
My wife's brother once got very drunk, vomited copiously all over his room then proceeded to hoover up the mess (or attempt to). Which was fine until about a day later when the hoover began to REALLLLY honk. In the end, not even a bag change could save the thing and it had to be binned.
“I need to be dressed as French hamster for assembly this morning” Said at breakfast before school. Helpful.
Had a parent call me to explain to me (for a good 20 minutes) why she would like me to come down with my kid when he comes to play ( kids were 12), after she got done, I told her next time my kid showed up, to tell him he can't come play at her house. Lecturing people is no way to get another adult to hang out with you LOL
Lucky. I lost nearly all of my sense of smell when I had Covid, and it's not coming back :/.
That's actually why it was invented. It was originally designed by a female socialist to be played two different ways. You were supposed to play it communally first, and then the monopoly way. The point was to show that the first way was better for everybody, and that the second way was terrible for everybody except for one person. The game was so popular people would make their own boards at home to play with their friends. When Hasbro bought the rights from her, they changed the rules. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nytimes.com/2015/02/15/business/behind-monopoly-an-inventor-who-didnt-pass-go.amp.html
Am I the only one who thought “bed party” was something else?
It was very hard to convince me that "butte" is pronounced "beaut". I'm 17 now and I'm still not entirely convinced; my American Literature teacher even recently showed us a link from Butte College and had to inform us all that it is not pronounced "Butt College".
Try reducing their internet time by 10 mins everytime they ask the same question. No it doesn't work, but if I am failing I don't see why I should do it alone.
Well, boxed wine is just juice boxes for adults, that is a start.
I can imagine Netflix producing a cereal called "Netflakes" where inside each box is a recommendation that makes absolutely no sense.
This is me, but when I first started to ask for stuff. And by that, I mean getting my mom to authorize me getting more Sims expansion packs and letting me take my sister to the new Claire's that just opened in a nearby Wal-Mart. I am 17.
Ha, yeah. My son "mom can I go work on my big project?" Me: *wow he's finally taking initiative on schoolwork* "of course, go for it!" Turns out it was making something in Minecraft .....
Yeah and the other 10% is telling them don't put that in your mouth, get up, get out of the shower, stop it.
Lying to save money isn't okay. And scams like that tend to fall through when your oldest shouts "But dad, I'm six and [name] is FOUR!"
Can anyone imagine having ANY social media back in the 80's early 90's? We all would have been f@#cked.🤔🤯
Social media is just like all other things, it has it's good and bad things. It would eventually get better once we eliminate the echo chambers, find better ways to stop fake posts, etc.
Load More Replies...My son, when he was 7, told me that a little girl in school was in love with him. He said "I must have a conversation with her... Because, you know daddy, when I'll grow up, I'll be perhaps like you... Ugly...".
