This lazy panda forgot to write something about itself.
Totally agree with Sivi. I worked in retail for a man who insisted I ask every person who step through the door if they needed help, preferably with a question they couldn't answer with a yes or no (ie. "What can I help you with today?"). Even if the person clearly did not want to be approached, I had to do it anyway. It could be so uncomfortable for both the customer and I, but I had no choice if I wanted to keep my job.
Same here, but I know that a lot of people want to be asked by the workers if they need help with something and will get angry if noone comes to talk to them. Must be a servitude fetish or something...
Yep and such one too, if you have the time please read my comment above haha!!!
“Hello! I’m Marisa the assistant manager. Can I interest you in any of ou—“ “READ THE GOD DAMN SHIRT. TAKE TWO STEPS BACK MARISA!” 10 minutes later exiting the store Marisa “Ha-have a n-nice day” Me- gives death glare
Yeah, so much better than saying, "No thanks" and moving on. Your approach is 10 words and the cost of a t-shirt and adds hate to a world already too full of that. My approach is 2 words and keeps in mind that Marisa is a human being with feelings and a right to dignity who has actually done you no harm. But with your approach, you get to fluff and preen yourself that you're somehow dangerous and intimidating, and you probably even believe it. Death glare indeed. Thanks for the laugh.
