Animals can be surprisingly clever. They can communicate in complex ways, find their way across huge distances and pick up on sounds or smells that humans barely notice. With abilities like that, you’d think they’d be pretty good at staying out of trouble.
But sometimes, curiosity gets the better of them. One questionable decision later, they crawl somewhere they shouldn’t or seriously overestimate what they can squeeze through and end up stuck. Luckily, people are usually around to help them out. Not without collecting some hilarious photographic evidence first, of course.

Terrifying childhood memory: my dad walking us into the backyard and picking up a cat skull. Poor thing had gotten its head stuck in the chain link fence. Cats have a triangular, wedge-shaped skull, so their heads can squeeze into a tight space, and have a hard time getting out. Please be mindful of this ;-;

See my reply for the moose stuck in the lines - they're real photos. The Snopes explanation is that the sheep was near/on the lines when they were still down on the ground in the process of being strung. When the machinery pulled the lines taut to raise them, the sheep's horns got tangled on the line and it got pulled into the air along with the lines.
