Guy Tries Pre-Workout Powder He Finds At Work, And Side Effects Are So Strong He Writes Hilarious Amazon Review

It has become abundantly clear that Amazon reviews are full of hidden comedy gold nuggets, and someone has recently unearthed yet another hilarious review. The product in question this time? A pre-workout powder designed to boost your energy levels and increase blood flow to muscles to kick off your workout routine. The product contains niacin, a B vitamin that causes tingling all over the body, and one person has taken the time to describe the health supplement in great detail.

Back in October of 2017, user “Dino2925″ left a 4-star rating with a funny Amazon review detailing the effects of LIT pre-workout powder had on his 5’11”, 270 lbs body. It started innocuously enough, but it’s fair to say that it escalated pretty quickly! You don’t expect to read about zombies in your sports powder review, that’s for sure.

Another user, Jake E. left a 5-star review and condensed his opinion into one substantial sentence that had us all laughing, and others started to jump on the bandwagon with their absurd reviews. At one stage you begin to wonder, what exactly did they put in this stuff?

Scroll down and read the review below to see what exactly these people went through after ingesting this weird and wonderful pre-workout powder!

I got a free sample of this stuff when I was buying protein powder at GNC once, so I tried it right before I went to the gym, figuring like you: 'Let's see what it does.' I also suddenly felt crazily itchy and really jittery for a while. But I found it did help me have a high energy workout, and working out did seem to metabolize it through it's cycle in the body faster. I agree, good zombie apocalypse stuff.

This, along with many similar products, contains B-alanine as someone has already noted. The itching is a sign that too much was taken at once for this person's tolerance, and the underlying effect of B-alanine actually requires carefully dosed ingestion over several months before it kicks in, so in this regard no muscular benefit actually accrued from this experiment. The rest of the experience is basically the huge wallop of caffeine and sugar that the writer swallowed.

Guys... really... don't fall for this trap. It's OBVIOUSLY a sort of commercial for this clearly unhealthy product. The discussion over it does more than post itself.

The things we do (and eat) to do optimum 'work-outs' so we can meet the high beauty standards, are just batshit crazy. Seriously, people, have an espresso if you need the kick, but don't stuff yourself with god-knows-what kind of chemicals.

Coffee is a chemical too. You sound dumb af. A drug is anything that creates a physiological change in the body. Doesn't matter if it's naturally found on earth or made in a lab. Also, plenty of plants will kill you. The logic is absurd.

Think this guy is wrong... this CAN cause the zombie apocalypse. Exhibit A : Resident Evil - Keeper's Diary May 12th 1998 I've been wearing this annoying space suit since yesterday, my skin grows musty and feels very itchy. By way of revenge, I didn't feed those dogs today. Now I feel better. May 13th 1998 I went to the medical room because my back is all swollen and feels itchy. They put a big bandage on my back and the doctor told me I did not need to wear the space suit any more. I guess I can sleep well tonight. May 14th 1998 When I woke up this morning, I found another blister on my foot. It was annoying and I ended up dragging my foot as I went to the dog's pen. They have been quiet since morning, which is very unusual. I found that some of them had escaped. I'll be in real trouble if the higher-ups find out. May 19, 1998 Fever gone but itchy. Hungry and eat doggy food. Itchy Itchy Scott came. Ugly face so killed him. Tasty. 4. Itchy. Tasty

It's not unique nor new (been around since the 70s). There are thousands of different brands out there--it's called "Creatine"; a natural substance which does have an itch side effect on SMALL percentage of people. But hardly worthy of the hype that is being made of here.
