I think this is my favorite because it was one of the more "natural" looking photos. I don't like seeing animals forced into unnatural situations or positions. The photographer clearly has a good sense of design & a good rapport with her subject; so I don't think she needs to rely on kitschy costumes and situations. If I were she, I'd ditch the outfits....there's a lot of talent there, I think!

Sometimes overbreeding results in the eye sockets being too shallow. Could literally lose an eye.

Dogs have feelings. Do not scrunch them up in clothes just for a photo opt. They need to be comfortable just like humans.

Bad sign when the nose is so close to the eyes. Over-bred and will have difficulty breathing. When humans find an aspect of appearance so cute over and above the dogs welfare...

Yes they're completely adorable but it's morally corrupt of sites like this to continue to promote these manufactured breeds who cannot breed or whelp without human assistance. I'm beginning to liken these shoots to pornography.

"Oh look he's gasping for air! So cute!" It's utterly irresponsible to breed and buy brachycephalic breeds, it's straight up animal abuse. You KNOW they suffer, but you don't care they suffer because the only important thing is to have a cute funny face to look at.

So let me get this straight. All of you against these breeds of dogs are saying that we should not purchase them because it is wrong. Then what should we do with all the ones that have been born already? Should we just gather them up and pile them up in a barn somewhere and let them starve, be alone and die off so the breed won't exist anymore? Wow! Maybe you think that is what we should do with humans in the same situation? You are all within your own rights to not purchase these dogs but who the hell are you to criticize those who do buy them? Did it ever occur to you that the owners are giving them loving homes, taking care of them and have also neutered/spayed them? No, all you can do is sit there and b***h at people you know nothing about! You don't know what they know about their furbabies. You need to shut the f**k up and mind your own damn business. I don't think these dogs are cute, at all. I think they're deformed and I wish people would stop shopping for dogs with deformities because they think it's cute. Health is more important.

I get that people are mad about bulldogs having very ahem squashed faces but unfortunately, that's just the way they've been bred and it's too late now. The people posting these probably understand this but that doesn't give you the right to be mad at them for just wanting to capture cute moments with their dogs. I get it, yell at me if you want but you shouldn't get mad over something that's been around for a long time. I have a bulldog and yes, he does have some breathing problems but what does that mean I can't love him? Can I not take pictures of him before he's gone. Just please stop yelling at each other in the comments, bulldogs exist and if people want to take pictures of the dogs, then let them.

This quote comes to mind 'The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing'. Ignoring over-breeding is wrong. These breeds can be made healthier by responsible breeding to correct the 'cute' but harmful traits that humans have deliberately created.
