43 Of The Best Trump Trolling Reactions From Finns To Him Saying They Rake Leaves To Prevent Fires
Finnish people aren't exactly known for their sense of humor. The famously introverted Nordic folk have an often dark and sarcastic take on things, and most of their jokes have something to do with drinking, a favorite pastime, or poking fun at their equally odd neighbors, the Swedes.
However, the antics of Donald Trump have once again proved fertile ground for comedy. His bizarre, off-the-cuff remarks about Finnish raking habits has given them a chance to showcase their quirky, sardonic humor in the form of Donald Trump memes, mocking him mercilessly, and boy is it funny!
Donald Trump's Twitter comments were made in response to the tragic California wildfires, where he has dug himself a hole of his own making by criticizing forest management instead of showing Presidential support and empathy for the victims. “You gotta take care of the floors,” he said. “You know the floors of the forest, very important... I was with the President of Finland... he called it a forest nation and they spent a lot of time on raking and cleaning and doing things, and they don't have any problem.”
The comparison is an odd one as Finland is much colder and wetter than California, and the forests contain tree varieties that are much less likely to catch fire. And while he did mention the virtues of their forest management system, the Finnish President has claimed not to recall any such mention of raking. Raking and cleaning forest floors is simply not a regular part of fire prevention in Finland! The remark appears to be an attempt to justify Trump's bizarre urge to point the finger of blame in the aftermath of a tragedy, similar to his distasteful comments following Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico.

Considering all the downvotes on some comments, some sensitive pro-Trumpers on here! C'mon people, even if you agree with his political views (not sure how that's possible but here we are) you have to admit that this is as stupid as stupid gets!

He does realize that if we rake the forest floors of all the leaves, ecosystems will die. There are critters that live under those leaves, critters that feed on the leaves, and dead leaves that deteriorate and provide the trees with nutrients. Raking the leaves will destroy the forests. And since the majority of forest fires are caused by dry conditions and lightning..unless you remove the trees (what lightning is most commonly attracted to) there will still be fires. Did this idiot get any basic education or did his Daddy pay for ALL of his test scores?
