This Artist Makes Extremely Realistic Wool Figures Of Animals, And Here Are 30 Of The Best
Curly Jo Hobbs, a gifted materials artist, has taken the world of needle-felting by storm with her lifelike miniature animal sculptures. Starting her creative journey in 2015 with a simple rag doll repair, Hobbs quickly fell in love with needle felting, a craft that allows her to sculpt wool into realistic, heartwarming replicas of beloved pets. Her works, which range from dogs to donkeys, capture every detail and unique feature of her subjects, making them instantly recognizable.
Using just a photograph and a few details, Hobbs meticulously recreates these cherished animals, ensuring that each piece is as unique as the pet it represents. Hobbs' work has become a testament to the magic of capturing love in wool, one strand at a time.
