I ran to little Jack who had no pulse but was warm and tried to resuscitate him to no avail. We cried so much together. It was heartbreaking. But he thanked me for trying. I honestly tried my best. I do this all the time with parking. Often, weekend parking is $X per half hour, but once you pay for 3 hours it gives you 12 hours. I just take the ticket from my dash and put it in the machine where the tickets come out and hope someone finds it before they pay.

I have been dealing with depressions for about two years with having worse moments through out the last year. On top of that i have been single for nearly the same time. Reading those stories gives me the feeling that i am not alone and this particular list made me smile and cry like a damn fool. But it helped. Thank you all for this.

Call me weird, but I have a special folder with my favorite Boredpanda stories. Only a few very special posts get put in that folder, and after 2 years of reading on this website, this post has officially taken the third spot. Thank you boredpanda and please keep this kind of stuff up!

Ok, jerks at BP, I am 6'4" 250 pounds off tattooed cowboy boot wearing man. Running a police impound yard, with truck drivers and ticked off people coming and going all day. Who has made it through like 4 pages and am FREAKIN BROKEN!! I am not allowed to cry at work!!! hahahahaha

Thanks for this, couldn't stop crying or make it through the whole thing. My husband of 40 years died three months ago and today was particularly bad trying to take care of all the piddly things that have to be done. This made it so much better, thank you, thank you, thank you.

i'm legit trying to hold this back right now like seriously. in the world, there are some incredibly evil people and then there are so many more people who are just so good and too pure for this world. so why doesn't everybody just start to put aside all hate and just start loving one another instead Moving-pic...fc2f82.gif

I got to work knowing that I had woken up on the wrong side of the bed this morning, so I immediately decided I would Google to find something uplifting the moment I sat down at my desk. Alas, my homepage (boredpanda!) delivered without even having to search! I'm only a few pages in and I've got this bookmarked as "READ WHEN YOU ARE FEELING DOWN." As a side note, today is the first day of Mental Health Awareness Month! #breakthestigma

When I was 5 yrs old, I went to my school store with 5 bucks. I bought something for my mom and dad, and that used up all of my money. I didn't have enough for myself. I ended up in tears.

The thing that breaks my heart is looking at so many kind people and knowing they are the ones that western society often writes off, a "bad a*s" teenager, an overweight black woman working as a server in a diner, the elderly, an Iranian school teacher, a "creepy" guy with long hair...but there they are, living their life and being kind.
