This Woman’s Story Shows How Sharing Your Pics With Strangers Online Can Destroy Your Reputation
It’s no secret that you have to watch who you share your photos with online, but this woman’s experience is proof that you really can’t be too careful.
On July 17th, a selfie of a woman purporting to be “one month clean” of alcohol and drugs went viral and reached the front page of Imgur. The woman in the picture, however, wasn’t the uploader, and she’s never touched a needle in her life. The fraudulent post was brought to her attention by her cousin, who took revenge by publicly exposing the author – a suspected Tinder match gone wrong.
“After a long, valient fight, the post and user have been deleted. I made a post calling them out and the Internet demanded justice,” he has since written on Facebook.

People are monsters, and this is the same when they do it with their nude pics, revenge porn. Why are people so PETTY, jesus christ, what the hell is wrong with people??? She should sue him for slander (is that the term?) that sht is illegal.
I also what to add that im a simple humanbeing just like you all. I sometime drink and hang with friends. It's normal but not in my right mind would I touch a needle. I've seen way to many people die from it and it sickens me. I'm am upset bc this person is joking along with it.. that's nothing to joke about... showing off drugs and pawning it off to people to get revenge ?
I had a stalker who came to my door at 4am. He found me because I had a facebook account. He used the info there to Google me, find out my address! It became a very scary situation where I ended up having to get the police involved. Now I have deleted all personal info and created a new FB account not using ANY real info about me. I had to contact all my friends and family telling them about my new account and not to use my real name. I also did a lot of other things to protect my privacy. So I guess my message is, pls. be more aware of what you put online. Even the stuff you think is safe, may not be. I sure do feel sorry for this girl, but it could have been so much worse for her.
Ok people. I'm gonna add this. I have mental illness. Lack of sleep and too much sleeps. That's another can of worms. I would never do the "all American drugs" of the world. It's sicken me. And I hate that there's all the f*****g hate just bc you met someone on a tinder site. I was looking at hacked bc this persons probably Hack and the word troll to find my information. I deleted my tinder account 2 weeks after this all happened bc I figured that's all the and people are fake and are a******s
Decency among people on the Internet seems to be rare nowadays. People think they can be nasty to other people, just because they have been "slighted" - even if they haven't been - and because they can hide and stay anonymous - even though such thing as being totally anonymous is just an illusion. Why people decide to be nasty, and evil, may simply be because they pretend to be nice and decent among "real" people, and decide to vent their nasty, dirty, evil side on people who they don't really know on the Internet. I wouldn't want to know them in REAL life. False, nasty, evil, unprincipled people. I chose my friends very carefully because of this. And I trust no one. Sad but true.
