Small Town In Provence, France
The small town is called Haut de Cagnes and is located west of Nice. Very beautiful ancient village indeed!
Ite definitely Cagnes sur mer, where I live. He house is the oldest in Cagnes and is called "la Goulette"
If it's really a town "That You Can Actually Visit" then you just gotta give us a name...
Bibury, Uk
Visited last year....it is truely beautiful 😊 Make sure and look for the black swan
question: they have raining season there. Wouldn't the rain hit the doors/windows and get into the house, would it? # Out of topic but I was just curious. I live in tropical country.
All year is rainy season in UK. It can and does rain many days in each season not everyday but often. The windows are glass in between those frame panels the doors are thick varnished wood and walls are normally brick or stone. Rain never gets in ..... unless your roof needs repairing
Load More Replies...Rothenburg, Germany
This is one of my favorite cities in Germany, but this photo is really over saturated
Lucky enough to have spent 3 Magical Christmases there. Only one with snow tho. Used to be our little secret. Unfortunately it's become too touristy with boat loads and bus loads of tourists descending on the little town Christmas Day, when everything is closed! No shopping, no restaurants, no markets - seems crazy to me?
I LOVE this place. The Night Watchman's Tour is a must. I miss Germany so much.
Been there a few times, it's a wonderful place to go and be , loved it
Gasadalur, Faroe Islands
It doesn't remind you of a good poetic game ? :D it starts with Sh**** ...
Load More Replies...They kill whales there :-(http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3173617/Fishermen-chase-250-whales-beach-Faroe-Islands-locals-leap-water-glee-stab-death-slaughter-turns-sea-red-blood.html
Please do NOT visit the Faroe Islands. Tourists are legally obliged to participate in the annual pilot whale hunt even though they are most liklely unaware of this of horrified by it.
Hi there As a Faroese person I can assure you that there is nothing to be afraid of. On the other hand I can guarantee that you'll experience great hospitality, unspoiled nature and loads more locations just as stunning as Gásadalur???? Please don't let your judgement of an entire nation be based on propaganda material produced by ecoterrorist organisations like Sea Shepherd. They are experts at manipulating on an emotional level and that way get people to donate to their organisation.

oh such a fairy tale, this place where they massacre pilot whales and puffins birds...
Am I the only one who saw the landscape and the name and thought of LOTR?
Bagnone, Italy
So many little nooks and viewpoints to explore . The kind of place you visit during a day out and wish you could stay for a month or more ,to take photographs of every thing from every possible angle and even some impossible angles! Captivating!
Hi Mike, IAmBecauseWeAre and anyone else who knows- can you guys recommend a place to stay in Bagnone? WIll be going with a friend in July this year! Thanks so much
Hallstatt, Austria
I was in here in april, I really looks like this way, like on the photo. I was beatiful!
Bet it looks even better on a day without any breeze when the lake is a mirror image of the town with that fabulous Bet it looks even more enchanting on a day without a breeze when the village is reflected in the lake featuring that magnificent church spire.
I've been there during February on a Ski trip and truly is an Fairy Tale Village.
Manarola, Italy
Manarola, actually. "Cinque terre" means "Five lands" and Manarola is just one out of those five
Lay off on the color saturation control, OK? It's pretty enough without.
Its clinging on there! A tribute to the house builders tenacity, and skill in mixing very sticky cement!
Gokayama, Japan
Really wonderful! Looks if Santa will come out of these little gingerbread-houses. Which part of Japan is that? Hokkaido?
... known as "gassho zukuri" for the steep thatched roofs that look like hands in prayer. They're steep to keep snow from piling up too much
I live quite close to here and Shirakawago. Gokayama is much smaller than the other but much quieter and free of tourists. The cottages are

Abandoned Fishing Village In Shengsi, China
i always hide in my bedroom cuz i don't have money to travel but oneday i'll travel to these village cuz it's so amazzing and i love it.
On these islands, some village gradually desolate, no one can be in the house by nature gradually eroded. it's pretty nature because of the green colour. but i think it's haunted :|
Are these reusable? We have refugees looking for homes and homes sitting abandoned...
Renndølsetra, Norway
The next quest is on that mountain. The villagers eill tell me not to go because it's too dangerous. But I'll go because I'm the hero of the story and I need it to complete the game anyway. There's a powerful boss up there and a dungeon filled with treasure.
Renndølsetra is not a village though, it's basically just a farmhouse ("setra" is a suffix that means "collection of buildings up on the mountain used by a farm in the summertime when the animals are grassing there")
That's not completely uncommon in Norway - but I guess you see it less these days. Even the house next door to my place has a grass roof.
Load More Replies...I have been summoned there by the Voice. I wonder what fate awaits me there at the Throat of the World.
Eguisheim, France
Yeah at this point just make a tour of Alsace, Eguisheim is not the prettiest place there.
Not the prettiest but certainly of the prettiest :D I live a few km away from Eguisheim, a village called Turckheim, also a really pretty place !

Shirakawa, Japan
Monemvasia, Greece
I love Monemvasia. The climb to the church on top is tough, but well worth the effort! :)
There's even a couple of houses on the higher plateau. I wonder how they get up and down.
An absolute amazing place and have best ice cream ever. Long walk up to town best to get taxi as you spend hours walking around the place. They even have a small hotel and lots of lovely bars with fantastic views.
Mountain Village In China
China has many mountain villages!!These villages is so beautiful, has long history(Possible grammar is wrong, my English is not good, hope understanding)

If I remember it right, the name of the village is Pingan. Been there in 2009.

This pic isn't sad at all. There's no sunlight crashing in, and I like that. Nothing disturbs the deep calmness from this scene. A beautiful contrast to the usual over-brightened postcard pics. :)
