I was visiting Würzburg, Germany a few weeks ago when I discovered this amazing exhibition of fairy tale characters displayed in the Mainfränkisches Museum. Barbara Lenz is the talented author of these statues. The collection has over 40 figurines made from natural material like feathers, sand, fabric, wood, stone and seashells. Here are a few of my favorite ones. It was an amazing spectacle worth seeing.
