it should be irrelevant where you're from or what you look like, one of the worst things in the world is wasted talent. This guy could've taken the easy route, but he didn't he was determined and made a difference. So many can't, but if one can it's one step closer to the world changing for the better.
Yes...yet just yesterday I read a comment by a reader that immigrants (to America) have caused an increase in poverty, medicare expenses, insurance fraud, lowering wages, increased crime..blah blah blah. And of course, to him the only immigrants were those who looked 'immigrant'. It's ridiculous how much bs sad, uncessessful people toot. They'll blame anything and anyone so long as they don't have to deal with the reality that they are the real failure.

Not sure this is entirely true, it is illegal to advertise medical practices Australia as far as I know and I've never seen an ad for a medical practice. If this story is genuine, he is a legend. I'm Aussie born and have worked with immigrants from all over the world and they are like anyone else, if not better as they have worked to get here.
Good point, but if you search X type of surgical procedure / specialization you will find results. With varying site size and complexity.

People suck. This guy is amazing. If only we could not judge a book by its cover.
My kids grew up with an Indian pediatrician, she was the best. In the U.S. Indian doctors are some of our best. I hope the don't get treated like that over here.
If you are in Australia and thinking it is not racist you are probably a white person. I am white, but being gay have a small understanding of these issues. I know I don't know what it is like to have " dark " skin. But any white person could just be polite, and treat *everyone* with basic respect.
