Emerse In The Jungle
Being a single parent for years now of two wonderful almost adult kids, I kind of tend to feel a bit lonely, when I think of them moving out. I want to beam myself into another more exotic place. A place where there are new sounds, smells, trees and animals although I do like nature in my country, too. But I´m a bit afraid of my house being so empty and quiet where I won´t hear anyone coming down the stairs for a coffee anymore. Just my cat and me. Thank God for this wonderful cat! Being in a different environment or imagining myself being there makes me a bit excited, gives me new perspectives and even awakens my spirit for adventure again. Life simply cannot be over for an aged mom just because the kids leave their home. So this painting kind of pulls me towards thinking of exploring new waters, new environments, perhaps a new me!
