Let me try to introduce my work! I have always been fascinated by drawings, street art and other creative people. Since my childhood, I have been drawing and painting.
I love the idea of temporary art because all things in life are temporary. I grew up on the beach where I lived during the summer. I have always been drawing on the beach using materials I found at the there. 6 years ago I started using a rake. This way I could make the drawings much bigger. Because they became so big I wanted to see the result from above. I mounted a GoPro on a kite so I could make pictures. Nowadays I am using a drone. I am inspired by tattoo artists, street art and geometry.
Love to be out in nature and be in my own creative world where everything can happen. I love to work on a large-scale using the environment as a canvas. Most of the work a make takes up to 4 hours of work. Where it's washed away by waves as the tide comes in. I hope people are surprised, wondered, touched or just feel the energy I put in my work.

Thx John, its good to hear you like it 🤙🏻
Load More Replies...Most tattoo artists have done that too.. oh wait wrong spelling. Anyway, where did you find a big empty beach? :)
The outer part of the drawing, which is brushed outward, gives it the depth that makes it stand out so much more. Too bad someone didn't realize it was part of the art, and walked over it. 😞
Maybe it was just my own feet 😜 The beach is for everybody you can't claim nature.
Load More Replies...Yeah now I see! He was trying to prevent it but didn't succeed.
Load More Replies...The shadowing makes it look like it is going to float up from the sand...thank you for sharing
I love the way this drawing blends in naturally with the returning tide. Tomorrow there will be a fresh page awaiting the next drawing. :D
We had to work quick because the tide was coming in to soon or we added to much detail 😜
Load More Replies...just start trying and amaze yourself!
Load More Replies...It was also trippy to make 😉
Load More Replies...The person laying in the middle of the design really shows the scale. Wow!
I make this work with just a rake
Load More Replies...Tim, I was going to suggest that you take the wave images and do two things. First stretch the waves out so each one is longer, like the ocean. And Second, turn them 180 degrees around, so the waves are lined up with the actual water. As the tide comes in, they will blend with your waves and look all as one. Just a suggestion. 👍
Hi John, this one onjuist starter without any plan. The pictures I make are always against the ☀️ you have to do this beacuase of the shade the sun gives to the sand. Otherwise the contrast is to low.
Load More Replies...I love it too Tess. What really makes this so awesome is the way he adds so much depth to the image. By taking the outer edge and raking outward, he automatically makes it look like it is elevated above the beach. But for even more added effect, he has some of them extended out even further, and it adds even more height to the image. This whole thing simply stands out above everything else. 👍👍
Load More Replies...This is awesome. Looks like there is an object above that is casting that shadow on the sand, but you did it yourself! So cool!
This one took up to 5 hours beacuase of the large scale. Started at 5 o'clock in the morning because I wanted it to be a surprise for this beach club called Woodstock
Load More Replies...Do you make sure to only walk where you rake or are you just really good at keeping your footprints from being obvious?
Is that another drawing, of at least a house, I see? Seems you inspired others! Loved seeing your work.
Its the mark the waves leave at the beach when the low tide is coming in!
Load More Replies...Jonge!!! Geen woorden voor.. Allemaal te mooi!! (H) eerlijk, ontroerend!!
Tim, how do you manage to keep everything in perspective? Do you follow a preconceived pattern that you have drawn on paper? Anyway, very beautiful and thoroughly engrossing. Keep up the great work.
Hi Nancy, That's the beauty of my work. It's temporary just like al things in life
i made a small Celtic cross once on the beach.........not ah......not nearly as cool as these imma be honest.
Stunning! I always admire artists who create such big pieces like this, to have such perspective is amazing. To be able to create this artwork on the ground, then see it perfectly complete from above is simply genius. Well done Tim.
Very impressive! But how do you stop passer-byes from walking all over your art?
