There's nothing knitted. it's all beginner crochet. I believe anyone can make these. It's half granny stitch (3 double crochet separated with a chain 1 or 2) and scale / crocodile stitch (row 1) 2 double crochet chain 2 repeat (row 2) double crochet around the fronts of last rounds stitches) red heart has a great tutorial and would be a good way to start crocheting.
Oops! We've fixed it. Sorry for being a silly panda ^^
Yup. Would prefer to buy the pattern to the gloves. I would say that you need to have done a little crochet before attempting these - from experience as I was a newbie only 2 years ago!

Over opininarionated is right. At least you're aware of it. No, this is not beginner crochet. And for the intermediate to expert crocheter, it's still a talent to achieve those results. She or he has excellent color schematics going, it's quite good and it's unique. I don't quite have that knack for color combinations. So, good on them. They're taking their talent and making it worth something. Why not appreciate that instead of trying to take them down a notch.
From what I can discern, it looks like they've used an ombre yarn with a longer than usual color repeat...so the color coordination is just a matter of starting both gloves at the same spot in the skein. They still require more skill than I've developed and ARE cool and gorgeous!
Could you send me the crochet pattern, instructions on how to make these! Thank you...
What is it under on Red Heart?
Trust me. Not anyone. I am a crochet moron.
Is there a pattern? Our school is the home of the Dragons.

That's what a friend told me. She's making me a pair because i cannot crochet or knit due to arthritis.
Do you have the pattern ? If you do or you know where I can get it I would appreciate you letting me know.
https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/ZarrinHandmade?ref=si_shop has a pattern that is very similar. :)
Oh didn't notice the edge till now I love picots they are a nice touch (single crochet chain 3 slip stitch (or single crochet) into the top of the complete single crochet :-)
I LOVE this idea. They look fabulous with the color coordinated painted nails too.
I agree!
I use fingerless gloves when writing. My wrists and hands tend to get cold. These would be both practical and inspiring for me in my quest for the story!
