This Golden Retriever Picks Up Random Objects When She’s Not Getting Enough Attention (18 Photos)
Dogs are known to be social animals—no wonder they're called a human's best friend. Exciting studies show how dogs can read humans' facial expressions and emotions, but one does not need to be a scientist to actually see that dogs are very good at communicating. Also, you don't need to study at Harvard to realize how much of an expert of manipulation your puppy is when it wants something.
But the dog you're about to see below certainly deserves a medal for creativity and inventiveness. Meet Stella—an adorable golden retriever who came up with a genius solution for how to get attention from humans when there's not enough of it. Apparently, Stella picks up a random object that she finds in order to "make you tend to her."

My 3 yr. old Spencer, steals and hides my glasses regularly. Even takes them off top of my head. LOL. Then the chase begins.
Oh so thats where my glasses went FUN FACT they have been lost for 3 years
Does Stella need a boyfriend? My sweet and very creative Maverick (German Shorthair Pointer) seems to be her match made in heaven. He has brought me hairbrushes, my glasses, lightbulbs, batteries, a knife, screwdrivers, my shoes, wallpaper, my bills, a live snake, a dead bird, a live turtle that I found the following year with the mark on his shell, and so on. You get the idea!
A good friend of mine had a whippet that used to raid the closet and leave a slipper out in the middle of the living room while they were away. It was called "The protest slipper." He didn't chew it. Just let it be in the middle of the room as a symbol of his feelings of neglect. If he really thought he was getting a bad deal.....he would pull out the matching slipper and put it in the room as well.
What happened to the rest of the animal? She has the horn under her paw...
I had another friend (see my rant about the whippet above....not the same friend...a different one) who trained his bird dog to bring him beer in the living room. He tied a dishtowel to the refirg. handle and leave the cans on the bottom shelf. "Suzie......getabeer."
Your dog is so so sweet thank you for sharing makes my day she is a blessing all animals are
