Living with a disability is no easy task - people can be quite judgemental of one's condition, which adds a fair share on top of other hardships. Also, not all of our surroundings are adapted to the comfort of the disabled. But no matter what kind of lemons life throws at you, it is always best to shun the self-pity and sourness away, greeting problems with a healthy sense of humor. Humor, after all, diminishes the struggles to a size that we can wrap our heads around, thus making it more easily solvable. And what's a better way to display your unbeatable optimism than funny Halloween costumes.
Disabilities can seriously jeopardize one's life, but as these guys below will prove to you in a second, it has no chance of overshadowing their creativity and sense of humor. They showed this point by creating some of the coolest Halloween costumes that only they could pull off.

"People With Disabilities" another one that seems attention seeking. does not belong in this list. i tore my ACL and medial meniscus, that does not mean i could park in the disablities zone. wish i could multi-downvote

Fantastic list. so amazing a mindset, i aspire to be so positive. only shame was the two entrants who hurt their knee and thought that made them disabled......... try being in that wheelchair for 2 years instead of 2 weeks, see what adversity means.

These are awesome, but from a logistical standpoint I want to know how they get most of those wheelchair costumes in/out of anywhere! There are plenty of places my walker won’t fit through. The level of detail is amazing considering these must come apart/fit back together really easily and/or collapse in on themselves. It would be really interesting to see how some of these were put together.
