SO which lens makes you lose 10lbs? I need to buy that one ... for Science!
The ones with short focal lenght! On the downside, you're nose looks bigger... Always a catch, eh?
Load More Replies...Yep, you always put on a few pounds when you eat one with a high focal length
F*ck yeah! Now i officially can eat cakes and if i will have bad photo i can say "No, i`m not fat! this is just because of camera, take this proof link and leave me alone!"
but in reality the human eye is equivalent to a photographic lens of approximately 65mm
Not adding. One of the basics of photography is that you need to chose the correct focal length for portrait, etc., or correct the distortion, if you cannot use the proper lens. Mobile phone lenses are mostly 35mm equivalent, not good for portrait .
Misleading. The change in perspective is due to the distance from the camera. In order for the face to subtend the same angle at 20 mm as at 200, you have to be 10 x closer to the face.
Actually, many photographers use a 200 lens for portraiture. The ideal portrait lens is 80 to 100mm on a standard 35mm format film or digital.sensor, but a 200 allows a greater distance which may be better for street portraiture.
