Imagine do-over 2020 (in lieu of Gal Gadots star studded video) I was inspired to write new lyrics in hopes of making it more relatable .

I asked my 16 year old son, Randon, if he would play piano and my 11 year old son, Joshua, to sing it for me and I would video tape them. They were reluctant…. so I said “never mind I will reach out to my facebook friends and see if they can help me.”

Funny enough they were more inclined to help after seeing the positive support I was getting from my friends.

Being a Stay-at-home mom, I feel like I am always being a cheerleader for my kids and husband and encouraging them to do what they like. I just felt that my heart was yearning for my creativity to come out and this was a good time for me to do something for myself.

Because we are all social distancing, I asked my friends if they would be open to filming themselves on their phones at home (Either singing or playing an instrument) and send it back to me so that I could edit it together for an idea I had. Pretty much everyone agreed and the rest is history.

I will say it was way more time consuming than I had anticipated but I feel excited to have a completed “project” from conception to full fledge music video.

It took almost four weeks from coming up with the lyrics, till the completed video. Considering most everyone had “ONE TAKE” to work with was really difficult to tie together with other artist who had no idea what I was matching them with! It was a lot of fooling around with playing each artist together one by one and doing process of elimination.

Thanks to my daughter Chelsea who has lots of patience and great skills at editing, she managed to help me get out on video what I was picturing in my head.

If I had to do it all over again, I would definitely have everyone in on a zoom call together so they could harmonize and fine tune it so they were in sync. But I am so happy with the outcome! Listen till the very end for the “littles”…. I love that part!
