28 Distinctive Comics From 5 Years Of Daily Drawing

Hi, my name is William. I am from the USA and live and teach in South Korea. I have been drawing one comic every day since October 2013.

I have been into cartoon drawings since I was a kid and have always wanted to be a cartoonist. Greats like Bill Watterson (who made one of the best comics - Calvin and Hobbes) have always inspired me to make art that was creative and meaningful.

A lot of people ask me how I come up with my ideas. Sometimes, I get inspiration from my everyday problems or experiences, conversations with friends. Other times I have a sudden thought that I write down to use later. Typically, I just start working, and a drawing idea naturally comes to me.

Although I am inspired by many other talented artists, I try to make only original daily comics and only use my own style. It is not easy! One thing I really enjoy doing is playing with color.

My process for these relatable comics is to take out my drawing tablet, sit down, and start drawing. I know it doesn't sound very exciting, but routine works for me.

I wish for my webcomics to connect to others in a way that makes them realize that we all feel much of the same ups and downs in life. In this way, we are all human. I hope you like them!
