Aw, spiders can be so cute - I tell it to people, but they think I'm crazy :) I have some jumping spiders in my house, they are curious and one, in special, is very "sympathetic", it always come close to see what I'm doing.

It makes me so happy to read there are other people in the world that care about the littlest critters.

We had one in our kitchen he was a jumping spider named Frank, oir house never had a fly in it when he was around

me too. I let them bee. They saved be from an attack of african bees one time. I owe them!

I'm so happy to see that there are other people who love spiders around the house like me (and I mean the ones running around freely). I've had so many people saying they are a pest etc. and they get rid of them (and often not in a nice way). Those are the people that at the same time are complaining about insects that are bothering them in their houses. I love the spiders hiding in and around my house (do need to vacate a web from time to time tho). The only danger for them in my house is our curious cat :-s.

I really like people with a generous heart for animals and small critters that the rest of us ignores or hates, and you are no other! ;)

In a Southern state, I had furry non-web-weaving spiders living in most of my windows. I didn't name them, but even my pest control guy liked them since they made his job easier. I never had an insect in the house thanks to those guys.

I have very mixed feelings about spiders - I know that those are very helpful because those keep other insects away. But still I always run away when I see one. :D

I've always had Turantulas. Only one at a time...LOL. They live in my house and eat scorpions. Sometimes I won't see them for weeks. Than one day, he'll show up and pays us a visit. Always comes out when we watch TV.

My favourites are daddy long legs. They look so creepy, but they are so friendly and kinda cute too!

I've had "pet" spiders in my bathroom at kitchen at times. I like their presence, because I know they're catching and eliminating other vermin - flies, mosquitoes, baby roaches, etc. I think of them as subcontractors and let them carry on.

I have had tiny little tolerated indoor spiders, but I'm terrified of the big ones. They've got to be OUTSIDE.

As long as they don't pay for rent, they need to be outside. I don't mind spiders outside my house, but I'm highly arachnophobic and anything bigger that 5mm It's too big :D

Aw, come on! I only screamed once and fled out the front door. The spider was as large as my hand with a body the size of a pink eraser. I don't try to kill them but I can't sleep if one is in the room. They have a wicked sense of humor and run across my face. At least the Palmettos snuggle within the curved fingers of my hand when I am sleeping. Neither bite, but I always wake up terrified.

I wonder if sights like this have been the inspiration for all the stories about sea monsters. :)
