Hope the glue used is non toxic if they plan on using this as a actual bird bath. Beautiful though.

I know of no glue that is non-toxic AND waterproof, it will eventually leach into the water. No one seems to think long term.

If anyone has the skill and patience to piece together an entire birdbath out of broken CD's. I would buy one - except I probably couldn't to afford it. It would be beautiful. I would even put up with wind chimes if they were somehow made of CD's.

It's wonderful that Mom was able to adapt his scribbles into art, but I hope she didn't give him/her carte blanche to draw on all the walls. I think a child-size easel and some drawing paper would be a logical next step.

What kind of door is that? Should it not withstand some force?

Tis a cheap and thin door. By context clues I'm guessing it belongs to two (or more) people in their twenties living as roommates for the time being ;o)

That's cross stitch, not embroidery. It's pretty, but what would you do with it?

actually i'm pretty sure that's just printed fabric. they just stuck a similarly colored thread in the picture to imply stitching. if you enlarge the picture you can see that the flowers have no texture of their own at all. the only texture is the overall regular pattern of woven fabric. they just bought some printed fabric that almost sorta kinda matched the china, and cut it to shape. the only stitching here is where they hemmed the edge. the post is a LIE.

That's not a fix, that's some sort of hipster art installation.
