100% attendance under the worst conditions ever, but with no promise of regular work, and she must be willing to pay for the children's "snacks" and $10 an hour for three children, and be an english (white) person. No wonder she's a Trump fan, she's a self-entitled creep. She also doesn't understand that no one with those qualifications would accept such a horrible proposition.

Why 9 years? Why is that a magic number? Why not 10 or 8? Looks like she is wanting a nanny but for cheap, babysitter wages. And it only makes sense that she is a Trump supporter since she is only offering $10/hour and having to pay for snacks occasionally.

I have been a nanny for 15 years. This ad is pretty standard, unfortunately. Everyone wants to pay $10 for a bilingual, CPR and first-aid trained college graduate. Just have a look on care.com if you don't believe it.

Ok - here is a ridiculous - real life scenario of proving ID to be employed by an agency to work with Vulnerable People - I just cracked up it was so ridiculous - tell me if you want me to go on

While this is absolutely terrible and disgusting that the woman is expecting this of a babysitter", what is it the sudden increase in "shaming groups"? Do we really need online groups specifically to shame people?

So, basically she wants somebody born in America (‘English speaking’ ‘Trump supporter’) who is also fluent in a second language, has a college degree but no job (‘open availability’ ‘100% attendance’), has extensive childcare experience but no children of their own (‘open availability’ ‘$10/hr’), and despite the ambition and education (‘bachelor’s degree’) needed to drive, feed, and teach three kids under the age of six, is willing to work for $10 an hour. Oh, and they have to be the kind of person whose morals allow them to accept under the table pay that they can either claim and pay taxes on later or not claim at all and risk an audit or legal action, but they can’t have tattoos or drink socially or do anything on social media that looks less than perfect. TOTAL ENTITLED DELUSIONAL PSYCHO.

I had that 'would be worried if someone with a degree works for 10 dollar''. I am a child nurse, female, 28 years old. Moved to a new town. I saw an add in the local supermarket for a babysitter. I thought about the awesome experiences I had as a teen as babysitter, how bored I am in the evenings in this new city because I don't know anyone, and this might be a fun thing to do to get to know more people in the neighbourhood and have something fun and usefull to do in the evening. So I responded, telling about myself. She asked how much I wanted to be paid. I hadn't thought about that, I don't really need the money, I have no clue what babysitters now-a-day ask, so I said the amount that I got as a teen; '5 dollars'. She went mental, said I asked too little as a registered nurse and I was a pedophile and she was going to report me. Well..okay..Geez. =/ Luckely I used an e-mail adres which has not my real name in it but a fake name (I work with children that are victim of criminal parents, due to my own protection, and my friends and family, and others like me, it is a safety procaution to go by an other name.) because if she actually did report me for this I could have said bye-bye to my carreer since I actually work with children... And there is 0% tolerance policy; better safe then sorry. Which is good; but also really annoying and wrecking when someone tells people that you are pedophile because you ask too little money.. one's illogical underbelly is my exit in my career and into wellfare. If I was a pedo comming for you children I probably knew the right amount to ask to not raise any suspicion *facepalm*

That mother, she obviously is narcistic or something... simple way to find you self a baby sitter is to call agency, they investigate all their employee and guarantee the job good done.

This "Trump fan" will probably wind up hiring an illegal alien to watch her brats. Oh the irony etc.

The thing is, I hired a sitter, based on a few good references. She abused my kids, stole from us, showed up late, no-showed, stole our car when she house sat for a weekend and threw a party as well.... she was only 17 so all her previous "run-ins" with the law were not out there because she was underage. The car theft and party weekend ended our relationship and the rest of it came out as my kids stopped being afraid of her to open up and tell me all the horror stories from when she was there. My children ended up with severe trust issues after that. I stopped even looking for sitters after that. It was horrible. You have to back-check babysitters. They are caring for the most precious possessions you have! And when your kids are traumatized by a sitter, it's not pretty or easy after that at all.

She's a bad mother. She doesn't care how stressed this nanny would be, being on call 24/7. Stressed nannies don't make for healthy children. If for no other reason, that one requirement makes the mom terrible.

Is she supposed to talk politics with the infants? All her claims are ridiculous, but the Trump reference surprised me the most.

Her requirements don't sound so horrible (well minus the child care BA...is that actually a thing? That aside...call me judgemental but I think I would prefer a nanny with no law issues for my baby as well if I had one=x), though she could've definitely worded them nicer...until you see the price. I'm not overly familiar with babysitter prices, let alone those in the US but for THREE kids and all her demands that's just wow.
