So find someone else then. Find a woman who is the person you want. Don't try to change someone into the woman you want.
You need to wear more/ You wear too much. Danged if you do/dont. Like we live our lives around some rando guys opinion on what he deems f*****le… as if we have no autonomy or opinions of our own. Like, yeah dude, I was born for the sole purpose of entertaining you. Heaven forbid I live a day of my life without considering what some guy visually wants.
That is what I think too, but he could just go find a woman who looks the way he likes instead of annoying a woman who don't..
Load More Replies...Man's contribution: one squirt... woman's contribution: carrying baby for 9 months, giving birth and pretty much doing most of the caregiving of the baby...and must lose baby weight immediately
FIL constantly cracked fat jokes when I was pregnant despite the fact I was always so sick I was dangerously underweight. I finally said, “Well, I’m pregnant, what’s your excuse?” - He didn’t find that funny & called me b***hy. Yeah, I’m being the b***h in this scenario. 🙄🤣
A woman who is plump and has had babies is clearly fertile. Evolution says that's super hot.
Load More Replies...Men too actually. More so. And we don't even get the protection of a society that can give us a little f*****g comic about it.
I do NOT think everyone should have kids, or think i'm better than anyone else bc i have a kid, but having our child has filled our house with a vibrancy i am grateful for every day. Also i would not go on half the adventures or know half my community or half my friends without him. I rarely defend the choice to have kids but i do want to share that. I lived 34 years without him just fine but i have a richer life for him.
i agree! I'm probably too young to be thinking about this but i probably don't want kids. i just don't want to deal with tantrums all day.
Load More Replies...What sort of situations have you been in??? I have been in plenty where kids make it more fun! Like the zoo, or a water park, or just a walk in the park, eating hotdogs, watching the stars, etc.
No. I like all of those places, but I do not like children. I do not like being around children. Having children with me in those places would make those activities a nightmare. Not everyone likes children or being around children. Please remember that other people do not share your opinions or may have *different* opinions from yours. That is what this artist was trying to convey. You missed the point entirely - for the woman in the comic, and for someone like me, ANY situation would not be "made more enjoyable" with kids around.
Load More Replies...All our vacations with our kids, even when they were little, were a blast. I can't imagine not having them there. And there were times we were somewhere without them and I wished they were because it would be more fun. But I get that's not for everyone.
I can think of many circumstances where having children around would be much better.
Like when you're chased by a lion or a bear and you need a distraction?
Load More Replies...Same. I'm so glad when I met my partner that he didn't want kids either. I haven't wanted kids since I was 13. I had to raise my siblings. That was enough thank you! I'm struggling through life as it is with mental health issues. I'm so glad I don't have to stress about children.
Load More Replies...I'm glad when people who don't want kids don't have them. That helps against a lot of unhappiness in the world. But for the majority of people who do want kids, most of your life is better with them than without. Even when it's hard it's better with them!
You also have the power to eat healthy and get regular exercise. Love yourself!
Whatever you have, just own it. Confidence is the most attractive accessory.
There is nothing wrong with pudgy. Morbid obesity is the problem. Why can't people tell the difference?
YES, YES, YES, YES. Be yourself. Look in the mirror and say 'This is ME. I LIKE me.'
Oh bless my heart, I found the hate-filled incel. Hey Glenn, why don't you post a photo of yourself so we can all judge you?
Load More Replies...Double standards here are... Questionable. John Cena nude is normal for women or gays mostly. And Katy Perry outfit here is normal again for them mostly. There were enough people disgusted from Cena and enough happy with Katy Perry. So for me the double standard are in the eye of the beholder...
Load More Replies...This one is kind of apples and oranges. A gag isn’t the same as an outfit. Also, the the last tweet saying “his body is the best part about him” sounds like an insult, which many people level against scantily dressed men and women alike.
John Cena was being funny at this Jimmy Kimmel sketch. It wasn't a fashion statement.
Would have been interesting if the comments were from the same people. This is just pro comments for Cena and anti comments for Perry. Anyone can filter out what they want to make their point.
What's with the comparison? I don't see anyone in the left panel *sarcasm* XP In all honesty though, Katy Perry's dress isn't the worst thing I've seen on the red carpet or anywhere *cough, Bianca Censori, cough*
Have you seen the latest "fashion statement" she made this week at the Paris Fashion Week? Talk about exposure! (p.s. I love it and think she looks absolutely gorgeous, so I'm not knocking it)
Load More Replies...No, in Spanish people say "tiranosaurio" or "tiranosaurio rex". Pronouncing the consonant "T" will sound like "te", the drink or "te" as "do you"
Load More Replies...YES! I have pulled people up on this double standard. My kids are bilingual (German/English with a smidge of Hebrew) and English is seen as a "desirable" language here. However, I have been met with looks of disbelief from other parents raising their kids with Turkish, Arabic or Russian, for example, because they had never heard of anyone saying it was a positive thing before. I think *any* language enriches a child and future adult! Learning more than one language makes your brain more flexible, it makes you knowledgeable about more than one culture and makes it easier to learn more languages later!
It doesn’t matter where you’re born and raised. Sometimes a child can’t pick up on a language. I was raised with English and Marathi but after moving states I found it hard to learn the language of the state. It’s been many years and only now I’m able to slowly pick up on the vocabulary. It’s not a shame if a child can’t speak the language of the place they’re brought up in
Load More Replies...The rich women is the worse mother, yet society thinks rich=good and says she is the better one.
Load More Replies...i've never ever heard anyone say this mom or DAD is bad for dropping kids off somewhere prior to work...what planet is this from ??
There are plenty of people who criticize single moms or moms in general for "abandoning" their children in this manner. It's crazy.
Load More Replies...I have four pets. That's pretty exhausting too, to make sure they're all well-cared-for and happy. I don't like children and do not want children. My pets are rewarding and give me love. But they ARE a lot of work to make sure they're healthy and happy XD
Bwahahahaha! What bomb shelter are you living in to think "we have moved on"? Oh, man, my sides hurt from laughing too hard.
Load More Replies...you shouldn't have to, i'm sure your hair is absolutely beautiful
Load More Replies...Did you know it was 2014, yes 2014, when the military (Navy I believe but might be other branches too) allowed women of color to wear their natural hair. How messed up is that!!!??? They couldn't have their hair the way it naturally grows until 2014!
Some states are actually passing laws so women of color can't be discriminated for their hairstyle.... I find it shocking that LAWS have to be passed because these women are being punished for their hairstyles!!!!
I remember back in the 70s when women and men wore their natural hair and no one said a word about it. Why did it change in the following decades?
It changed (especially in the 80s and 90s) because more and more Black people started entering corporate workspaces and they decided that natural Black hair (women especially) looked unprofessional. In an effort to either punish them, or drive them out of corporate America, or make everyone look more homogenous. Before that there were lots of other types of rules but natural hair exclusion didn't show up until Black women started showing up. In the 70s there weren't that many Black Peele in corporate workspaces (speaking just about the US here).
Load More Replies...My daughter has curly hair like on the right, but a flatter face & olive skin. Ancestral haplogroups; is she white? Native American? Turkish? Asian? Gypsy? .. Yes, and also Scandinavian, Scottish, & German. However, we label ourselves “human”. And no matter how she wears her hair; straight/curly, someone always has a stupid comment.
Again, left one is the same pic with a different head as two previous pics of the well regarded woman example. What is it about that blouse and skirt combo that makes the woman respectable I wonder?
Probably nothing. It just might be easier to copy/paste than draw something different.
Load More Replies...Wow, someone's triggered. Take a chill pill dude...
Load More Replies...This is definitely about white people exclusively being called "expats", and everyone else being called "immigrants", the former being viewed positively and the latter viewed negatively. https://www.theguardian.com/global-development-professionals-network/2015/mar/13/white-people-expats-immigrants-migration
The difference is if people adapt and integrate into a different country or not.
Expats generally don't! They often .don't learn the language or customs of the countries full of Brown people they like to retire to, so they're also not working either!
Load More Replies...REALL people always mention 9/11 in my class when I'm there (hijabi)
On the opposite side, why is it white people and rich people (usually both) are "expats", but anyone who is poor and not white is an "immigrant"?
Because Europe, per example, is native country of white skinned people only... Historically. And everyone with different skin colour historically came in Europe from somewhere. But after first generation (born in Europe), they are not immigrants anymore, as per all laws. They are European citizens. Although themselves mostly insist they are not European, and want to be called otherwise... So...
Load More Replies...Who cleans your home? Who tends your lawn and garden? Who cleans your pool? Who picks up your trash? Do you know how many "gross" and "disgusting" jobs there are where I live that white people WON'T do and ONLY the "immigrants" will work at those jobs? My family has owned a housecleaning service since the early 90s. Go ahead and ask me how many white employees we've had in those 30+ years.
Load More Replies...I think the left one is a picture of somebody else's idea of a perfect woman, while the right shows my idea of a perfect woman
I think they are the same women. So they are both the perfect wife/mother. We can be made up and be awesome wives and mothers. And we can be casual and comfortable and be awesome wives and mothers. And through all of that, we are awesome people. Not women, not mothers, not wives, just awesome people.
Load More Replies...Considering all the hateful comments you've made against women on listicle thread, you're going to be in for a rough time bud.
Load More Replies...FOOCKING HELL, BoredPanda. Enough with this idiotic censorship! This site is so freaking bizarre.
Oh! Thanks i had no idea what was going on there lol 😆
Load More Replies...Many times, the pic on the left is a cover for the pic on the right. If you escaped from a bad relationship, then celebrate. If your friends aren't celebrating with you, then that's another relationship to escape.
I felt like a f*****g champion right after. The image on the right was me a few months later. There is nothing saying you can’t be both. In any order.
Self care is so important. Take care of yourselves guys, gals and enby/demi pals
I don't know how the electricity in baby monitors works, but be careful not to drop it in the bath.
"What is a phone call of use, if you are unable go speak?"
Load More Replies...Oh, I don't know, I have seen very, very well-off ladies looking just like the one on the right.
Load More Replies...This is not true. Nor correct. Usually this is connected with mother's behaviour and how much she cares for her children, not with her external look... If she is unable to at least feed or dress them decent, everyone will feel sorry for the kids, and will judge her... No matter how the mother looks
Its all about what they wear 🤢 smh rn bc if I wanna dye my head rainbow I can dye my hair rainbow and your opinion will not get hair dye off my head
No one has a moral responsibility to procreate. We need only treat others fairly. But having kids can be rewarding.
Except for asexuals, intersexes, some lesbians, spiritual leaders like nuns, psychopaths, women biologically unable to reproduce and those chicks that marry objects like cars
Load More Replies...The right panel gives more information. Based on what is said, we don't know how many fathers there are associated with the one on the left.
It does not give any information, it merely mirrors assumptions based on apoearance and prejudice. It shows what people immediately assume when rhey hear those two types of women without a partner have three kids.
Load More Replies...Not every child from a single mother was conceived by a baby daddy or a known father. There are such things as donors and as adopted children. Don’t always assume people!
Not all single mother children are conceived by baby daddies. It could be a donar.
Yep. "Single mother of three" might mean her husband just died, and they had three kids. While "three daddies" might mean she tries to make each man she dates to take care of her - just by giving birth to new baby.. Might mean! Not compulsory. But it is hard to judge on this one...
You nean the right one is a triple widower and the left one was kicked out by her partner when he realised the kids weren't his?
Load More Replies...EXACTLY!!!! The little-bittys love their mommy so much they can't bear to be apart!!! It can be annoying, but I also find it endearing, at least in my case.
Load More Replies...A dog and or a cat should be at her feet while having the kids scream out mom to make this far more accurate!
Many people who have kids don't have pets! But maybe the dog/cat addition would make it more accurate for you? In which case, godspeed! I have to shut myself in the bathroom occasionally and block out the noise for a minute.
Load More Replies...That's what we all thought when we saw your comment.
Load More Replies...Some people choose a hijab or headscarf. Not everybody who wears one is impressed.
Load More Replies...Oppression is real though and does actually take forms so let's not pretend imaginary. That is harmful.
Well they BOTH may be oppressed, but for sure the one on the right is as she belongs to a religion which subjugated women. The woman on the left may be as well if she's a Christian but we can't know that from the picture.
Islam never subjugated women. Rather it elevates them to the point where they are not being seeing as an object. Wearing Hijab in Islam is compulsory as it is part of Islamic teaching.
Load More Replies...Those "getups" protect them from 134F degree heat. Long sleeves and long trousers and closed shoes are heaps more comfortable than sun on direct skin, as I know from experience.

Load More Replies...I LOVE THESE COMICS SO MUCH THANK YOU BORED PANDA :D
The point of these is old news, and exists across many cultures in one form or another. People defer to the rich and dump on the poor or different because it makes their own lives seem better. A regrettable part of human nature that is very slowly being overridden by broader senses of decency and fairness, but it's so ingrained that it's a multigenerational process. Also regrettable.
An anagram of Lainey Molnar is "really on main". She's always spot on with her observations.
Artist had something to say 20 years ago not so much with it anymore I'm afraid.
I hate these stereotypes. When I see amazing comics like these speaking up against stereotypes, I hate them even more.
One of my favourite things about the internet is how when women express anything, there's always a bloke right there to explain how they're wrong.
Load More Replies...The comics are drawn by Lainey Molnar and she is very much not a high schooler. Her messages are very much true and necessary for people to hear.
