Chysalis is a meditation on man and its role in its environment. We can’t tell whether those humanoid shapes are vanishing or being born again, wrapped like chrysalis. There is an ever so thin frontier between this cocoon blurring their features and the dust storm shrouding the cocoon itself. Only human and transient shadows remain, a trace. As all is receding, a presence becomes suggested. It is this thin and fragile presence that I wanted to express through these pictures
