Shocking Social Experiment Shows How Easy It Is For A Stranger To Abduct A Child
Youtube prankster Joey Salads has parents around the world on edge after he posted a social experiment video that shows just how easy it can be for strangers to abduct their children. By approaching children with a cute dog named Donuts, he was able to lure children away from the playground, hand-in-hand, by promising them more puppies to pet.
Before approaching each child, Salads approached their parents to explain the experiment and ensure that he had their permission to test their child’s reaction. Each of the parents featured in the video were certain that their child would shy away from Joey, running back to mom instead. They were wrong.
“Over 700 children are abducted a day. That’s over a quarter-million a year,” Salads explains. “Are your kids safe?”

You should not count on your child to have the maturity make distinctions between "stranger" and an agreeable looking person.

I know this post is crazy old BUT: You should be wary of all strangers. Period. It's an invaluable lesson EVERYONE should teach their children. Telling your child "Never walk off with a stranger" is extremely important. Like it or not sometimes you can't watch your child. What if someone steals them on a field trip? During school? What about after school activities? You can and HAVE to trust your child to make good decisions about their safety. Not giving them that knowledge is just as bad as disregarding their safety yourself.

The number of stranger abductions in the U.S. each year is less than 150. Out of millions of children, a tiny number. Teach independence.

most kids are abducted by someone they know . But this does go to show you that anyone could take your kid if they wanted to.

Am Nelly from California, it has being 16 year I have gotten marriage to my husband without a child not that am old already but I want to grow old with my kids and my husband love children so much to that extent he shade tears seeming other fathers with their children. This being a very big problem to my heart and marriage I told him about child abduction five years ago he never agreed to my suggestion saying we should continue waiting but it got to this point where thing are getting worst he finally accepted, this Has been a dream come through in our marriage life we decided to go far from USA to avoid future problem because no one knows the future. I agree with Kelly and freerangekids. Yes, I do think it's good to educated children of the potential dangers, but this is over the top BS.
