When I Get Tired Of Making Serious Art I Paint Cats In Space
As an artist, a lot of the work I like to make tends to be very serious, sombre, or mythical. But like all things, there needs to be a balance. So Recently I have taken to painting cats floating around in space as a way to lighten up. (Pun not intended, but I kinda love it)
Some of these cats are based off of SPCA photos that a friend of mine takes when he is volunteering. It's always fun to know a little bit more about the cat that you are reimagining a new life for in a galaxy far away.
I hope you enjoy these little meowstronauts. Feel free to reach out to me if you know a cat who is most definitely from out of this world!

I do sell these! Prints are available on inprnt and I sell the original paintings as well as the occasional commission for those who want a cat they know in space. 😉

These are wonderful. And cats really do spend so much of their time in space---leaping, jumping, diving, hunting, running, etc.
