One of my cats learned to open the cabinet door to get the melon rind out the trash and finish it off.
I came home and he seriously ate right through the melon! Peel and all!

I had a tom cat that would eat anything from potato, tomato, cucumber, all fruits, gerkin's, pickled onions , anything, he was quite barmy.
All my cats love cantaloupe. Better watch the grapes though they & raisins are extremely poisonous to dogs having to do with kidney failure.
